Every seller agrees to our Seller Rules. AI images passed off as real work, dropshipping, reselling, print-on-demand and factory goods are not allowed.
Makers confirm every new listing
Before a new listing can go live, the maker confirms it is handmade by them or the makers they work with, and that the photos are real photos of the item.
Photos checked, reports read
Photos on new and changed listings get an automatic check, and anything that looks wrong goes to a person on our team. You can report any listing that looks AI-made or not handmade.

Every listing shows who made it and where. We check every maker before we accept their application.

Questions buyers ask
Is everything on Velor handmade?
Velor is handmade only. Our Seller Rules allow only pieces made by hand by the seller or the named makers they work with, in small batches. Factory goods, reselling, dropshipping and print-on-demand are not allowed, and when a listing breaks the rules we ask the seller to put it right, and we can remove it.
Are AI images allowed?
No. AI-generated or computer-made images shown as real work are not allowed. Makers confirm their photos are real photos of the item before a new listing goes live, and photos on new and changed listings get an automatic check that sends anything doubtful to a person on our team.
Who sells the items?
Each item is sold by the maker who made it. Velor is the marketplace that connects you with independent makers around the world; every listing shows who made it and where.
Is my payment protected?
Yes. Your payment is held until delivery is confirmed, then released to the maker.
Are makers checked?
Yes. We check every maker before we accept their application to sell on Velor.
Can I report a listing?
Yes. Every listing has a report option. You can report a listing that looks AI-made, mass-produced or not handmade, and a person on our team looks at every report.
